In most cases the propane in your tank has been paid for by you. You can recoup this cost by having the new home buyers purchase the propane from you at the time of your closing. You must inform your realtor of that information before signing a contract (many times the propane in the tank is considered as part of the home).
The day before the closing, read your tank gauge and call us with the reading. We will figure the cost of the remaining propane for you and fax that information to your closing company.
Please leave our contact information on the kitchen counter for the new home owners. They will need to call us to have the account switched to their name.
